Handprint Bouquet

Materials: canvas or paper (the thicker the better), washable paints (green for the stem and whichever petal colors you choose), paint brush, paint roller (optional), paint dish, something to wash paint off with (wet paper towel, baby wipes, wet washcloth, etc.)

  • Using a paint brush or paint roller, paint the palm of your child’s hand the petal color/s you choose

  • Press their palm against the canvas or paper, making sure the entire hand and fingers have been pressed down to transfer the paint
  • Clean the paint off of your child
  • Repeat with a new color, on a blank part of the paper, making sure the hand prints are close enough to form a bouquet

  • Use a paint brush to add the bow below the flowers

  • Use a paint brush to add the green stems to the flowers

  • Allow the canvas or paper to dry
  • Enjoy!
