Dinosaur Tape Rescue

Materials: toy dinosaurs, masking/painter’s tape, hard surface (garage door, wood floor, wall, large lid of a plastic container)

  • Determine where you would like to tape your dinosaurs
  • Tape each individual dinosaur on the hard surface with 1-3 pieces of tape, depending on the size and weight of the dinosaur
  • Ask your child to rescue the dinosaurs from the tape
  • Allow your child time to explore how to go about getting the dinosaurs out from under the tape
  • Have your child remove each dinosaur independently
  • Have your child remove the tape from each dinosaur, assisting as needed
  • Repeat if your child shows interest
  • Enjoy!
