Materials: toy dinosaurs, masking/painter’s tape, hard surface (garage door, wood floor, wall, large lid of a plastic container)
- Determine where you would like to tape your dinosaurs
- Tape each individual dinosaur on the hard surface with 1-3 pieces of tape, depending on the size and weight of the dinosaur
- Ask your child to rescue the dinosaurs from the tape
- Allow your child time to explore how to go about getting the dinosaurs out from under the tape
- Have your child remove each dinosaur independently
- Have your child remove the tape from each dinosaur, assisting as needed
- Repeat if your child shows interest
